Focusing on AI, quantum technology, C2C platforms, and other areas, we explore the potential ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) and governance frameworks related to the social implementation of new technologies and concepts, considering both research and practice.
As C2C marketplaces continue to expand, the responsibilities of platform operators are also being reevaluated. We identify and analyze the challenges faced by platform operators while considering and proposing new ethical frameworks for such C2C platforms that connect users of diverse values.
We explore the potential ELSI associated with the social implementation of emerging technologies such as AI agents, quantum information technologies, and NFTs by considering diverse stakeholders—including developers, users, and citizens—as well as a range of possible usage scenarios.
