Kazuyuki Shudo

Professor, Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1973, he received his PhD in computer science from Waseda University in 2001. His career includes the roles of Research Associate at Waseda University, Research Scientist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Director and CTO of Utagoe Inc., and Associate Professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech). In 2022, he assumed his current position as Project Manager for the MITOU Advanced Program at the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA).
