Mercari R4D researcher Seiyo Kurita received Best Paper Award at the 18th Asian Internet Engineering Conference (AINTEC 2023), held in Hanoi, Vietnam from December 12–14, 2023. The award was given to Seiyo and three other members for their joint research—Ryosuke Abe (Project Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University), Mariko Kobayashi (former R4D researcher at Mercari), and Shigeya Suzuki (Project Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University).
