The IEEE ICBC is an international conference on blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. The 2025 conference will mark the seventh time the event has been held. Held in conjunction with the conference, CryptoEx is a workshop focused on the challenges surrounding cryptocurrency exchanges. Participants ranging from researchers to developers of services in cryptocurrency exchanges will discuss a broad range of topics, including security attacks that exchanges face and their countermeasures, the cryptoasset economy, risk analysis, anti-money laundering (AML), and more.

- Multi-party computation (MPC) wallets are a technology that serve as one method for managing cryptoassets. Exchanges can introduce and utilize MPC wallets provided by system vendors, but if the MPC wallet has security vulnerabilities that attackers could abuse, there is a risk of cryptocurrency leaking from the exchange. This presentation introduces two potential attack methods and their common countermeasures.
